How to woo foreign companies to Poland and help Polish companies to expand in Ukraine

Every government has institutions meant to help businesses grow and expand abroad – and Poland is no exception. In Warsaw, this institution is called the Polish Development Fund (known under its Polish acronym, PFR) and it provides a wide range of services to companies wanting to expand, from insuring exports to help in obtaining capital. We talk with Piotr Matczuk, the fund’s CEO, on recent initiatives undertaken by PFR, including his trip to the U.S., where he wanted to woo American investors into doing even more business with Poland.
